Drupal Hack Night

  • Jun 18, 2009 · 6:30 PM
  • Merkados™

Schedule 6:30 - 7:00pm - Mingle Time 7:00 - 7:15pm - Come up with a list of problems that need attention and who can solve them 7:15 - 9:30pm - Hack away!
Agenda We have continued the trend of successful Hack Nights where everyone has a great time and lots of problems are solved! We can't wait to host more! Alex Centeno of Merkados attended our last Hack Night at Coalmarch and enjoyed it so much, he offered to host our next event at his office. Unlike our usual monthly meetings we will not have a presenter on this night. The Hack Night is geared towards folks who are currently using Drupal and are looking from some advice, help with a specific issue or to collaborate with others on a project. To get the most out of this meeting, come prepared with a specific goal, question or project in mind (or just come with your knowledge and desire to help others!). What are some questions or projects you plan to bring to the Hack Night? Discuss below!
Concurrent Hack Night Locations If you have interest in attending Hack Night but Cary is not a convenient location for you, tell us in a reply to this thread! We would love to have concurrent hack nights in different locations that are convenient for more people, but we need to see a definite desire for that to happen before we can feel comfortable with breaking up the group. If anyone would like to lead or host a hack night in a different location, please let us know!

I came to the meeting a total newbie; what I needed was very basic. The format — of everyone introducing themselves and presenting a problem they needed help with — was very helpful. The guy next to me — Kevin Kirkman, spent the night showing me how to create a page. Very helpful meeting.

I had one simple but nagging question and I got it answered!
