Cardinal Ridge Theater

Backyard Movie Night

2013 Season

Playing:

FAT, SICK and NEARLY DEAD
Saturday, August 24th

Pre-Movie fun starts at 7:45
Movie starts at 8:30/Dusk

How it works:

Cardinal Ridge Theater will be open for Movie Night throughout the Spring, Summer and Fall. Movies will be shown in the open air on a giant 14-foot movie screen.

The whole family is invited. Bring chairs, blankets, cushions, and your favorite refreshments, then get ready to enjoy the show!

IT CAN BE CHILLY - BRING YOUR BLANKIES!!!

Friends welcome! The more the merrier!

For updates or questions check the Cardinal Ridge Theater page or call[masked]

Movie Night is as comfortable and fun as you make it.

We usually have popcorn or kettle corn and water. Maybe even a home brewed beer to sample. If you want to bring other snacks or drinks, please feel free!

Bring comfy chairs, there's plenty of room, and some pillows and blankets. Even the middle of summer it can be chilly.

As it warms up, don't forget your bug spray or other prevention.

Movie starts playing at dusk.

If it is too windy or damp or raining, we will not have movie night due to potential equipment damage, but the Cardinal Ridge Theater home page and the event page will always be updated with the latest info. Or you can call: 510-4765.

i'm disappointed that this group would show such a fatphobic film.

Heather - I'm sorry if you feel that this is fatphobic as that was not our intention at all. We enjoyed the film showing how the author used plants and juicing to help reverse his auto-immune issues, similar to Forks Over Knives promotion of plant-based health. He is not a doctor so I look at this as a personal health journey story and not medical advice.

exactly poochie, he used juicing to help reverse an autoimmune disease.. which has nothing to do with weight. but they paint it as a weight loss diet and imply that his weight was directly correlated with his poor health. that's what makes it fatphobic. i know it wasn't your intention, but that particular film is offensive.
