Spirits Invites Sox Fans to Champagne Celebration with Thanksgiving Week Special

We have a lot to be thankful for this year, don't we?

Spirits in Cary was the site of our massive celebration when the Sox Clinched a World Series berth, but the last TRSN event there in ended awkwardly when a bizarre obstruction call ended World Series Game Three on a sour note.  As a result, our friends at Spirits have reached out to me and offered a nice way for Sox fans in the area to come together and relax and celebrate and give thanks next week with a unique special designed just for us.  It's similar to their legendary "Taste of the North End" specials from a year ago, and takes advantage of the fact that they are run by the same folks who operate Daniel's, one of the best Italian restaurants in NC. (Note that they just want to give fans a place to gather and raise a toast to the Sox and that you DO NOT have to purchase the 1918 Special Outlined below to attend and have fun.) Sox fans can gather at 6:30pm and select one of three pasta dishes (Baked Ziti, Pasta Primavera or the famous special-order Daniel's Lasagna) and a salad, then get a glass of champagne and a cannoli for dessert, all for just $19.18. (Sox fans know that 1918 was the last time Sox fans could celebrate a World Series clinched at Fenway Park.) Come toast the 2013 World Champion Red Sox with us in style and let's just relax and enjoy each others' company instead of hanging on every pitch... it should be fun!

I haven't shaved since the Sox won. I just wear my Red Sox jacket and smile at all the Yankee fans. Funny, none of them have congratulated me.
