New Meetup: Bull City Vegan Challenge - Toast

Announcing a new Meetup for Triangle Vegetarian & Vegan Meetup!

What: Bull City Vegan Challenge - Toast

When: Thursday, October 28,[masked]:30 PM

Where: Toast Paninoteca
345 W Main St
Durham, NC 27701

Let's have a meetup for dinner at Toast so we can try their entree entry for the Bull City Vegan Challenge: Roasted Butternut Squash Grilled Panini. They also have a Lemon Almond Biscotti in the dessert category. Check out for pics and details! Description, pictures and prices are featured!

Nosh is a casual restaurant and is not very large. They will take our reservation and do their best to have enough of the sandwiches available, but they said they cannot guarantee it. They also sometimes have vegan soup offerings.

There is on street parking in this area as well as a (usually) free parking garage at Main and Corcoran.

~~~ As always, please practice courtesy and consider your RSVP carefully - you are requested to update your RSVP no less than 24 hours before the event. There is planning involved for the person organizing any meetup and it is unpleasant when people frequently change their RSVP at the last minute - in addition to not being fair to others when an event is full. Let's also be good neighbors to the restaurant. We want them to welcome us back and give us great food and service - this becomes difficult when we say, for example, that we have a party of 12 and 6 people show up. In some cases the restaurant even makes staffing changes to plan for large groups. If you need to change your plans, please practice courtesy and do so as soon as you know, not one day before or day of the event. This last minute change should be reserved for emergency things that pop up. That said, I hope you can make it!
If you are the type of person to take leftovers home, I urge you to bring your own reusable container from home. As veg*ns, we can be examples in the environmental movement as well!
~ Stephanie
