To me the movie asks questions that each individual answers as they face the challenges of life.

Fascinating movie. Deep story with many twists and turns. Just as in life, there were many questions that could never be answered. There were also a couple of characters to be admired.

Another complex family psychodrama from Farhadi! It was amazing how the film kept raising new questions, just as the previous ones were answered. Also great to discuss it afterwards over food and drink.

I felt this was a film that was trying to make a point by showing how all the characters made decisions without really thinking through the consequences, and then they felt regret about what they had done. Nobody looked ahead at all. Nobody brought an umbrella for the rain. Even the woman in the coma, who was still conscious (I believe), regretted what she had done impulsively, now lying there in a coma. We're all fools who can't control our behavior and don't think ahead and end up haunted by our past -- that's sort of what I took from the film, although there might have been more to it than that. I thought it was an excellent film and enjoyed seeing it with everyone.

My first event and won't be my last. Great to talk with others afterward who appreciate a difficult film like this one.

A good film with more compelling storytelling by Farhadi. It was nice to connect with new folks in the lobby as well as an enjoyable post film discussion.

Wonderfully complicated film about individuals and relationships. Even though I liked the Anne-Marie least of the characters, I could empathize with her.

Heavy drama, maybe a bit too complicated. I like things a bit simpler.
I have enjoyed seeing old friends and meeting new ones.
    Thank you for organizing Shawna.

I'm a "maybe" since I'll be working all day on a section of the Mountains to Sea trail in Durham. If I'm not spent, I'll just show up or RSVP at the last minute.

Can't make this one, going to see "Book of Mormon". Have a good time, one and all!
