Mr. Head's Beer Club

Mr. Head's is starting a beer club this month. The first meeting is this Sunday, April 7 from 2-6 pm. Each meeting will feature a certain brewery's beers and a guest speaker.

The first brewery featured will be Odell Brewing. Free tastes of featured beers will be provided, and larger servings will be available for purchase. It's OK to come late or leave early, so you do not need to be present for the entire event.

Mr. Head's does not serve food, but you can have food delivered there.

The beer club will meet on the first Sunday of every month at 2 pm.

Interesting approach to getting the word out.

I like to make our members aware of local craft beer events, even if they are not "traditional" Meetups. I figure if you go to a craft beer event, you'll be around people who share your passion for craft beer, even if they're not "Beer Nutz." It's often hard to schedule a true Meetup at a large event, or one that goes for several hours, because while numerous members maybe able to go, they may not all be able to go at the same time. I feel it's good to make you all aware of craft beer events, even if it's not practical to organize a Meetup for them.

If you sign up for a Meetup, please go. It's not fair to other members who expect to see you, or to the venues who expect us to show up with a group of a certain size. I know that sometimes things come up at the last minute, but please don't sign up for Meetups unless you can commit to go to them.

Great O'Dell beer, but where was everyone? Two of us had a great time, along with about 15 other patrons. Billy Clayton of O'Dell did a masterful job of dispensing about eight different brew samples to all. I'm looking forward to this becoming a regular event. Thanks.

I don't see an organizer or a meet up location inside the club. Are we on our own on this one?

Hi Christine, Mr Heads is pretty small, so the Beer Nutz shouldn't have a problem finding each other. Because this is a Beer Club, everyone there will be interacting, so it's not a traditional "Meetup." sorry I won't be there, but I have a prior commitment. I plan to be there next month though.
