Highlights: Abandoned mines Distance: 4 miles Elevation Gain: 434 feet Hike Time: 2 hours Difficulty: Mostly easy Trail Condition: OK, but a few difficult spots. Hike Type: Out and Back From what I have read, the trail is not very difficult, but there are some rocky spots. This isn't like walking on pavement. You will need to have good balance.
With the arrival of the heat, we need to start hiking earlier, thus the 7 am start time. Along with the heat, rattlesnake season is also upon us. Always use caution when hiking.
