Turing Circle Picnic

Details
Join your fellow engineers and scientists in the Royal Botanic Gardens in Sydney for a picnic! The Botanic Gardens are a short walk from the CBD with spectacular views of the harbour and city, and easily accessible via public transport (there is also parking available, see below). Entrance is free.
Food/Drinks: Bring along a plate of food to share, along with any snacks and drinks you would like. BBQs aren't available, so any food should be ready to serve. (We'll bring a small amount of soft drinks and snacks and paper plates/cups, but please note, this event is self-catered).
Also don't forget to bring a picnic blanket or a small chair to sit on, as well as sun protection.
Location: We'll nominate an exact location within the gardens closer to the event (there are a number of options so if you have a particular suggestion, let us know).
Transport: If you're taking public transport, Martin Place and Circular Quay station are closest. You can also drive and park in the gardens (hourly rate) or the nearby Opera House or Domain carparks (much more cost effective flat fee on weekends if you book online - please check beforehand).
Get in contact beforehand if you want to bring something but can't easily carry it - some of us will be driving there.
If you're having trouble using Meetup to RSVP, you can email us directly at info@turingcircle.org.
