Celebrate Minnesota with Everyone's Favorite Homegrown Musical
This hilarious musical comedy takes you on a visit to the Lost Walleye Lodge, where the Humde family and friends will teach you the fine art of talkin' Minnesotan. You'll learn the all important lessons of the positive power of the negative, accepting food on the third offer, and the lessons no Minnesotan can live without - "You Bet," "Whatever" and "That's Different."
When I first moved to Minnesota, I bought the CD so I could understand what the big deal was with sitting on a stool in a hut on the ice holding a pole over a hole. I still don't get ice fishing, but I do now know what a hot dish is. If this show is half as funny as the CD, it should be hilarious (and informative).
I picked Sunday afternoon because the tickets are a bit cheaper ($30 vs. $38 on a Sat. night). But here's the real deal: for $38 you get brunch at the Green Mill AND tickets to the show. That's like getting brunch for $8! And it gets even better. For every 3 tickets we get, we get one free. That means depending on how many we get, the cost will be between $28.50 and $32.57. Dinner AND a show possibly for less than the show alone. At that price, you can't really afford NOT to go.
We'll meet at 11:45 in the Green Mill, get our tickets, eat, and then head downstairs a little before 2 for the show. We should be easy to find as I'll have a table reserved under TC Comedy Night. I will also post my cell number to the yeses and maybes a day before the show.
Ohfor Fun! You Betcha!
