Join us for the Talks and Networking for Designers #26 Meetup at Lidl Digital - Clinker Lounge.

Lidl Digital is internationalising and enhancing the digitization of business processes of Lidl, which operates over 10,000 stores across Europe. Abstract: Marc talks about the Switch they experienced at Bonial about a year ago, to go from an Agency kind of design team, all designers in a room together, to a more "Guild" approach, designers integrated in various teams. He will take us through his journey during this period and will also share the pros & cons of such a setup.

Bio: Marc is originally from Geneva - Switzerland and after his studies, went to explore and live the world for about 5 years and decided to stop wandering around and settle down in Berlin a little bit over 5 years ago now. His career as a designer actually started through photography which is still a passion of his. He now works as a Senior Product Designer at where he has been working for almost 5 years now.

Design-Founders: Use your super skills! by Simon Staib, Co-Founder at blogfoster

Abstract: Being a designer requires a lot of different skills: Empathic and diligent at the same, seeing the big picture but also have an eye for details. Those (and many more skills) can be a perfect baseplate to (co-) found a company. In this talk the speaker shares own experiences from studying interface design, working as freelancer and then founding two companies.

Bio: Simon Staib (28), has studied Interface Design at University of Applied Sciences in Potsdam and has founded two companies ( In his daily responsibility, he oversees product management and marketing besides acting as managing director for the 60 persons company.
