I have played for over 50 years and Judy has played for about 10 years. I do not read music, and play strictly by ear. Although Judy does read music, she hasn't learned the strings well enough to use the music to play the uke.
Both of us play soprano, tenor and baritone.
We own five: one soprano, three tenors and one baritone.
I play the guitar and used to play the banjo and mandolin, although I don't even remember the chording for those last two.
We went online to check out groups and found that this was the closest.
My wife, Judy, and I have been singing together since we met in 1963. I have played the ukulele since I was a child, and helped teach her to play several years ago, when we were playing with Noel Tardy's UFO group.
So far, I am completely satisfied. Thanks guys!
