Calling All Game Developers . . .

The door is now open for anyone wishing to propose a session for the Game Design track at the Big (D)esign Conference to be held in Dallas, Texas, October 17-20.

The Game Design track will focus on how the digital and tabletop game industries are rediscovering each other and their collective roots.

We welcome proposals dealing with design, art, programming, production, interface, testing, postmortems, etc. If you've got a topic we didn't think of, we are open to that, too.

But think fast, proposals will only be accepted until April 12. If accepted, your session will be scheduled for the main conference (OCT 18-19) in one of the 50-minute slots. Your Speaker Pass will give you full access to the conference and the events surrounding it. Travel and lodging expenses are on you, but we have a good deal with the Crowne Plaza, which is where the conference will be held.

Gamers can also look forward to: a co-located game jam, dedicated tabletop gaming room and library, on-site experimental games, and the usual Texas hospitality.

The full website is coming soon, but you can get the idea at http://bigdesignevent...
