About us:
We are a dynamic group dedicated to mastering the Art of public speaking. Our members come from all over the Rogue Valley and we are not directly affiliated with Southern Oregon University. We are professionals, students, teachers and networkers.
All levels of skill are represented here. We all have the desire to connect, support and improve!
We believe a FUN and supportive environment is ideal to truly broaden our opportunities for success. University Toastmasters provides the skills and confidence you need to effectively express yourself in any situation, whether in a one-on-one conversation or speaking before a large audience.

Everyone is behind you 100% as you stand up to reach your personal and professional goals with University Toastmasters. Don't overthink it - just show up!

Toastmasters is foremost about public speaking (YIKES!). That usually has some level of dread associated with it. Honestly though, the hardest part about Toastmasters is actually walking through the door for the first time. If you can do that, you can do Toastmasters.

Toastmasters is learning by doing in a supportive environment. Everyone wants to see you succeed and there is a plan that helps you through it, every step of the way, on your timeline. Just like riding a bike, the better you get the more fun it becomes.

We have moved to an online venue, due to the Covid-19 virus. Now participating in Toastmasters is even easier than before and a great way to get to know us. Not exactly the same as an in person meeting, but until those start again, this will be awesome.

P.S. Don't let the low attendance number fool you. Many of our members are not on Meetup.
