Green Street Farm Hosts a Book Club Every Tuesday.
Starting at 6:00pm with an informal, non-mandatory, potluck. With Vegetarian focus but not restricted.
6:30-8:00 book discussion. Each week we will discuss a couple chapters at a time (approximately pages) that way if someone misses a week, they will not feel left behind. 8:00 - ? Informal Discussion and We will be coordinating with practitioners of Non-Violent Communication to facilitate some further discussion and workshops.
The Book we have selected for March is Nonviolent Communication by Marshall Rosenberg. In every organization, community, family, and relationship interpersonal communication tends to be the root of conflict. Our Book Selections will focus on connecting more deeply by honoring, and honing our individual, and collective skills, with Nature, Ourselves, and our Environment. We participate with Kings English Bookshop Book Club Shelf to promote local businesses, and Community. 10% off books purchased through participating Book Groups
