Hi-De-Ho-Creeker Nation,

Vail and Copper finally have received some good snow with more on the way on Friday! We still need another 6 people to sign up for the Saturday Dec 15th day bus (we need 25 for the bus to be a go) so if you would like to join us send me an email or call me at[masked]-6902. You can pay on line or give me a check on Saturday, but I need to know if you are in by 12 noon Thursday Dec 13th. I need to let the bus company know and that’s the cutoff date. Here below is the rest of the info on the day buses.

Phil Comb will be running ski lessons on this bus at Copper and Lefty Lucy will
be playing at Jacks Bar at Copper Mtn starting at 3 pm Saturday for Après Ski.
Here below is the rest of the info on the Sat Dec 15th day bus:

Join us for a truly fun experience with your UTC friends & guests. The day buses
are a great way to get up to the ski areas and socialize with other members and
guests. The Ski bus is a luxury motor coach that can accommodate up to 50
people. The bus has a bathroom, great scenic views, plenty of leg room, and
usually can drop us off right by the ski lifts. Bagels, muffins, fruit and juice
are provided for the morning trip up. Wine, beer, pop, snacks, and music are
provided for the party on the ride home! We meet at the Office Liquidators
parking lot, 11,111 West 6th Ave, (north side frontage road of 6th Avenue, two
blocks east of Sims). The bus will drop off at Copper Mtn at approximately 8:30
am and then continue onward and arrive in Vail at 9:15 am. On the ride home the
ski bus will leave Vail at 4:45 pm, pick up at Copper Mtn at 5:30 pm and arrive
back in Denver at 7:00 pm, weather and traffic permitting. No hassles from
driving, parking, or having to make bathroom stops. (The bus has a bathroom).
(Lift tickets not included)
All buses depart at 7:00 am. Plan on arriving at the meeting place at least 30
minutes prior to departure!
If you would like to join us for the day for skiing/snowboarding at Copper Mtn
or Vail, please go to the web site at, click on the drop
down menu, select member $34 or Non-Member $39 for the Dec 15 bus, then add to
cart and pay on line with your credit card. Remember the $34 price is just for
DUES PAYING UP THE CREEK CLUB MEMBERS. If you just a member of the Meetup group
or a guest the cost for the day bus is $39.00. For more info on becoming an Up
The Creek Club Member go to:
Also, if you are a beginner, you can take advantage of a $20 group ski lesson
for only $20. To pay for the lesson just click on the drop down menu below the
day bus drop down on the same page. For more info on the lesson contact Phil
Comb at [address removed].
