Are you ready for the vast changes the future will bring to the user experience design field? You may have heard quite a bit about virtual and augmented reality (VR/AR), artificial intelligence and machine learning, blockchain and internet of things in the recent years - these technologies and trends are impacting the tech industry tremendously and will do so at an even greater rate in the future. The changes will bring new opportunities (and threats) to the UX design field and create (and destroy) demand for certain UX skills. We invited several design leaders to explore this hugely important topic in an interactive speaker panel discussion.
Ross Popoff-Walker, Product Design Lead at Google
Ross leads high-performing software teams to concept and craft world-class, user-centric products.
Currently, design lead for the Google Cloud Platform's flagship big data features, and data visualization system. Previously, design lead for the 2016 Olympics results in Google Search, and before that worked on updates to Image Search. Prior to Google, Ross' roles included both product manager and design lead for 14 different startups and agency-side (R/GA & more) designing large-scale apps and sites, including Target and Nike.

Phil managers UX for Google Cloud storage. Prior to Google, Phil was a part of IBM's User Research and Design National Practice.
