One of our hosts - Megan, will be there to greet you. She has short blond hair, will be wearing black pants and a black print blouse. Of course, she will also be wearing the PlayUtah membership pin. Please remember to wear yours if you have one and if not, you can buy one for $2 (not required). If she is not out front, ask for the PlayUtah table. Depending on how many people we get, we may or may not be making a reservation so keep this in mind. Megan's cell phone number is[masked] if you need to track her down.

7:30 - Show:

After dinner, we will head over to the show Million Dollar Quartet. Because you buy tickets on your own and in different price brackets - we do not sit together during the show.

Your RSVP here does not guarantee a ticket. You must purchase your ticket FIRST then RSVP on meetup.

Immediately following the show:

Post-Show Meet and Greet at Bambara!

Afterwards, we will meet out front of the theater - just east of the doors so we can head over together. Members of the cast will participate in a post show meet and greet with our PlayUtah group at Bambara (202 South Main Street) immediately following the show. There will be a cash bar available.

ABOUT THE MUSICAL:

MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET is the new smash-hit musical inspired by the famed recording session that brought together rock 'n' roll icons Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins for the first and only time.

On December 4, 1956, these four young musicians gathered at Sun Records in Memphis for what would be one of the greatest jam sessions ever. MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET brings that legendary night to life, featuring a score of rock hits including "Blue Suede Shoes," "Fever," "That's All Right," "Sixteen Tons," "Great Balls of Fire," "Walk the Line," "Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On," "Who Do You Love?," "Matchbox," "Folsom Prison Blues," "Hound Dog" and more.

This thrilling musical brings you inside the recording studio with four major talents who came together as a red-hot rock 'n' roll band for one unforgettable night. Don't miss your chance to be a fly on the wall of fame... at MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET!

Tickets can be purchased through Artix.

As always, I loved it. The production was so great- especially Martin Kaye (BTW it was his Birthday today) as Jerry Lee Lewis and Derek Keeling as Johnny Cash (he's actually an opera singer). See what kinds of fun things you learn when you get to hang out with the cast after the show. Not to mention, it was a blast meeting new people at our pre-show dinner. Thank you Broadway Across America for hosting such a great event! Gosh, I'm sure glad I didn't miss this one! See you all at the Tony Party!

Hey all - I changed my mind on what to wear today. I am such a girl. :) I will be in black pants and a black sleeveless shirt with red and white stripes.

James - I will be there to greet you. I have short blonde hair, will be wearing black pants and a black print blouse. I will also be wearing the PlayUtah Membership pin. If I am not out front, ask for the PlayUtah table. We will likely not be making a reservation so this is only applicable if you arrive late. :) Does that help?

Being a newbie, I have a newbie question :-). How will we find each other at dinner? We're hardly a large group.

    May 28, 2012

  • Megan Gutierrez(A Theater L.

BTW - my tickets are J-14 if anyone wants to try to get in the same area.

    May 28, 2012

  • Megan Gutierrez(A Theater L.

Correct Bill - we will meet for dinner around 5:30, then the show, then a meet and greet with the actors at Bambara. Bayleaf it is. Elisabeth - will you be joining us for dinner or should I just plan Bill, myself, James and his guest?

    May 24, 2012

  • Jamie G.

We're definitely for getting together for dinner before the show! But not being from SLC, I'll pass on the responsibility of helping to choose a place.

    May 24, 2012

  • Bill K.

I have eaten at the "Bayleaf" on Main Street before - it's a bar/lounge/eatery which has good food

    May 24, 2012

  • Bill K.

Isn't the Bambarra the restaurant at the Monaco? That place is fantastic! I presume that the discussion will not be over dinner. Is that correct?

    May 24, 2012

  • Bill K.

Absolutely! I am always up for dinner before any show. I'll think about a place ...

    May 24, 2012

  • Melissa S.

We'll just meet you after, because of work etc.

    May 24, 2012

  • Megan Gutierrez(A Theater L.

Is there anyone interested in doing dinner before the show?

    May 24, 2012

  • JoAnna

Since we will be meeting w/cast at Bambara's after the show I think I will pass on supper. Thanks! JoAnna

Any suggestions as to where you guys would like to grab a bite to eat before the show?

    May 24, 2012

  • Megan Gutierrez(A Theater L.

If you can't wait to meet the cast when you come with us on Tuesday - maybe you can sneak away that morning (5/29) and see the actors of Million Dollar Quartet perform for free at Gateway!

Thanks for sharing Bill. Hear that everyone? Looks like we may have another sold out show....better get your tickets soon!

    April 27, 2012

  • Bill K.

I bought my ticket today. There were only 200 left in the theater.

    April 26, 2012

  • Megan Gutierrez(A Theater L.

Hey Bill - I already have my ticket. I'd advise getting yours sooner than later. I don't think it will be entirely possible to sit together in cases like this. However, you can post where your seat is if you would like. Mine is K 14 - I think.

    April 25, 2012

  • Bill K.

Is there any interest in the group trying to sit together? Or should I just get my ticket ASAP?
