Afrofuturist double bill

Free event open to UBC members (who have been to a meeting before), Spike Island Associates and studio holders.

We are screening a double bill of Afrofuturist music films. Starting 7pm we will have:

Janelle Monáe – Dirty Computer (45 mins)

Sun Ra: A Joyful Noise – Documentary by Robert Mugge (1980, 1 hr)

The venue is the Associate Space at Spike Island. UBC - please meet outside the main entrance at 7pm and I will let you in. Please note I can only admit people I know to the building, hence the requirement that you must have been to UBC before. SI Associates and studio holders you are welcome to make your own way to the space.

Bring your own drinks and snacks, the kitchenette will be available.
