Join us for the second Ubiquitous Voice Society DC Meetup, where we will continue our conversation about the Ubiquitous Voice interface.
This session will be run more like a workshop than a traditional talk and panel discussion. Our focus will be to brainstorm together about how voice can make our lives better.
So put on your product marketer and designer hat and let's have some wholesome, product savvy fun!
Come to the meeting prepared to share your ideas and to help strengthen and flesh out the ideas of other participants.
So: think how can voice help us live better? We know that listening to music through the Amazon Echo is an experience that is second to none. We also love how, by just speaking, we can set up timers, control our lights and switches, and ask Alexa questions and quickly get the answers we want.
But what else do we want Alexa to do? How about outside of the home -- in the office, in the hotel room, in the hospital room, and elsewhere?
Put your thoughts in the following simple format:
• CUSTOMER: Alexa, I need some fresh towels.
• ALEXA: Fresh towels coming up.
• CUSTOMER: Alexa, get me the nurse.
• ALEXA: Getting the nurse.
We will break the participant audience in pairs who will go off and come up with a few use cases and features each, and then we will discuss the ideas that the teams came up with. You don't need to be a developer or a hacker. If you can think value and want to brainstorm with others, this is the forum for it.
