Join us for the third Ubiquitous Voice Society DC Meetup, where we will continue our conversation about the Ubiquitous Voice interface: devices such as the Amazon Echo, Dot, Tap and the newly arriving Google Home.
In this session, we will focus on the challenge of designing highly usable experiences for pure voice, eyes-free/hands-free interfaces. As we we all know from our personal daily experiences with IVR Telephony, rare is the Voice User Interface (VUI) that delights. More often, the experiences that the user is subjected to are highly frustrating. How can we make sure that we don't replicate on interfaces such as the Amazon Echo and Google Home the bad VUIs that are deployed on telephony IVRs?
Come to the meeting prepared to share your thoughts, ideas, questions and to help strengthen and flesh out the ideas of other participants.
The meeting is on the 14th Floor. If you get there and the door is locked, just call[masked] and someone will come down to bring you upstairs.
