About the Presenter

Carol Smith is the original founder of UX Akron. She Leads strategy for Watson Explore and Discovery products at IBM and manages a large team of designers, including user researchers, interaction designers and visual designers.

About the Workshop

Carol will be joining us for a workshop centered around user/design research and usability testing in June 2017. No lab? No worries. In this workshop Carol will show you ways to get started learning from your users right away. We'll look at the gear you need for remote studies (not much) and conduct some studies right in the room. Then we'll examine in-person guerrilla studies, what is needed for these studies and practice facilitating them.

Due to space constraints we cannot accommodate walk-ins.

Breakfast Options

Light breakfast and refreshments will be provided!
