What does a design-driven, midwestern software company look like? How do you organize the teams? When do you hire? Are you building the right things? How much time do you spend on research? Do remote or local teams work better? Should you spend more time on design critiques? How does design fit into an agile-based workflow?
We'll go over each of these questions — and more — and look at how my company has answered them. We might not be doing everything right, but this talk will leave you with practical takeaways for advancing or building design teams at your own company.
As usual, food will be provided - so come hungry!
