Which book has most influenced your thinking on UX?

The Inmates Are Running the Asylum - Alan Cooper.

Are you an innie (work inhouse) or an outie (work in an agency or freelance)?

Outie - but will be a student soon, which makes me a navel-gazer :)

What's your favourite design/UX related quote or saying?

Design is empathy.

I'm not in the UK yet, but will be soon (admittedly at Newcastle, but prepared to make the trek to London-town). As of August 2010 I'm an interaction designer in Auckland, New Zealand, but will soon be a PhD student at the University of Northumbria.
