Discussing Content Strategy for the Web by Kristina Halvorson & Melissa Rach

We are reprising one of our all-time favorite books Content Strategy for the Web in honor of author Kristina Halvorson’s visit to the University of Illinois at end of April.

Halvorson will be one of the keynote speakers at the University of Illinois Web Conference April 28 & 29. (Tickets are going on sale in January.) So, it’s a great time to read her widely acclaimed 2nd edition, which was co-authored with Melissa Rach.

Halvorson is one of the most recognized evangelists for content strategy. She is the CEO and founder of Brain Traffic; the founder of Confab: The Content Strategy Conference; and more recently she created the Confab Higher Ed conference.

In Content Strategy for the Web, you’ll learn the basics of this emerging web discipline, and how you can start to more thoughtfully shape the creation, maintenance, and governance of web content in your organization.

The book is published by Peachpit Press, one of the sponsors of UX Book Club CU, so you can get 35% off this book by using the code listed on our sponsors page.

If you participated in February 2012 —the first time book club read this work — please come anyway and lend any insights you’ve gained since. You can also bring additional fodder to this discussion by reading:
