UXCHCH: UX Has Joined the Chat

Details
This talk and discussion is for UX designers, researchers, product creatives or anyone who is feeling uncertain, overwhelmed, or curious about AI's growing role, and wants to understand how to stay relevant, add value, and actively shape AI-powered experiences with confidence and purpose.
Steve will touch on 4 topics with his thoughts. But we will have some of the best designers in NZ in the room. It would be nice to share our experiences and ideas. As a community, how might we learn from each other and solve for this together?
AI in Our Toolbox - (AI for UX) An overview of how we are using AI now.
“How is AI showing up in your design workflow right now - are you using it, avoiding it, curious? What's holding you back?”
Designing for AI - (UX for AI) An overview of toolkits and frameworks,
“Designing for probabilistic outcomes vs deterministic outcomes. How do our skills shift?”
Staying Human – Thoughts on how do we stay not just in the loop, but in the relationship with the user?
“What does it mean to preserve trust, clarity, and empathy in AI experiences?”
Deigning our Future - Thoughts on competencies and literacy
“What new skills, mindsets, or practices can help not just survive but thrive?”We may not get all the answers, but let’s start the conversation!
