Introducing the UX Surgery

  • Oct 31, 2011 · 6:45 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

Our first UX surgery session will be taking place on Monday 31st October from 6.30 pm to 8.30 pm.

The format:

  • bring along a user experience challenge you'd like to share
  • bring your expertise
  • or simply bring yourself and learn more about UX.

If you're interested in presenting your work or a UX challenge you're facing, please drop us a line so we can include you in the presentations: AT

Our venue comes courtesy of Rachel Bendyke at the UCL Interaction Centre.

Directions: The room is number 106 in GORDON HOUSE, 29 GORDON SQUARE, LONDON, WC1H 0PP, however, ***IMPORTANT*** the entrance is in fact in Gordon Street, opposite the Bloomsbury Theatre.  Room 106 is just straight up the first flight of stairs.

If the porter on the desk asks for your UCL pass, you'll just need to say that you're there for the UX Corner session.

Unfortunately there is no disabled access to the room, i.e. no lift - if this will be a problem, please get in touch via the email address above.

And afterwards? We'll be heading to a nearby pub for drinks and a catch-up.

Brilliant, loved this idea and it was a great group of people to discuss all things UX with.

Great to hear peoples' stories from the trenches, definitely recognized some of the pain points. Found it nice to be able to bounce around idea with people who come from various backgrounds. Unfortunately due to time we were not able to break out into small groups which I think would have been really valuable.
