What style of RE Investor are you currently?

Tom Kern is the owner and managing partner of Richmond Rehab Funding which is a private or hard money lender that specializes in lending funds to investors, builders and developers for the purchase and rehab or construction of the property which leads to its resale or refinancing. Most of our Borrowers either buy homes to rehab and sell or buy lots to build a new home to sell. As hard money lenders the lending criteria is not based on the Borrowers tax returns, credit score and financials but instead based on the hard asset or the profit in the deal and based on the skill and experience of the team assembled to execute the deal. How do you envision yourself progressing in RE Investing over the next month, 6 months, year, 5 years, 10 years, etc?

To be a player as a private money/hard money lender in the Peninsula real estate market just as we are in the greater Richmond market.

What do you hope to gain by joining our group?

To establish win win relationships that help me to expand my business but also help real estate investors grow their business by providing funding for their deals.

Aside from RE Investing, do you provide other services that may be of benefit to fellow RE Investors?

I do not provide any services outside of real estate investing but I still hold my CPA license and am quite familair with tax, accounting and financial matters of all aspects of real estate investing.
