1 front sight rd, Pahrump, NV
Front Sight is a premier gun training facility that focuses on safety, accuracy, malfunctions, legality issues, preparation, in all aspects of gun defense. This course is for new shooters through advanced trained folks. I choose to go because one of our members kept saying it is amazing and several other people said it's incredible. Now that I have gone I want to share this with you. If you are being threatened or feel your life is in imminent danger how will you proceed? I want the skills and refresher skills to keep myself and my family alive.
Rob will give you a $2000 course for just $100. In this course you will learn how to present your gun to the ready, live fire drills, dry fire drills, hostage situations, clear a house and shoot at bad guns that are armed inside your home. (Coolest thing I have ever done!)
I learned 3 different malfunction recovery techniques to get myself back in the fight if my life is ever in imminent danger. Learned Tactical reloads, emergency reloads, Malfunction clearing was some of the hardest but most common issues you may find in a battle.
At the end of the course we had a celebration of learning (basic knowledge skill assessment). We were also able to do some one on one (shooting targets down range that were reactive to our shots in a timed event. The entire event took us from beginner to advanced material. They want advanced people to get a refresher of things they missed. Or looking at doing this a little different.
I think several people will want to go and several people will want to carpool. Before we leave I will host another event so our members of this event can meet each other and see who they want to carpool with or share a room with. To get the best rates you may want to carpool or/and share a room in Pahrump NV. My room was $55 a night but it would have been nice to split the cost for five days.
You will go through around[masked] rounds in 4 days.
Front Sight Charges a $50 fee once a year for a background check on all their patrons to make sure they have people who can pass a background check on range.
I broke down the costs and expenses and expect between sharing gas, hotels, ammo, food, snacks, $100 Rob's fee, $50 background check, that this event will cost each person around $[masked] per person. This is not exactly a day at the range but an event you will never forget. It is training that can save your life or your families.
If you want to go, the first step is RSVP here, then pay Rob $100 so he can transfer you the certificate to join us, then set up an account on myfrontsight.com so Rob can set you up as a class member. Then start putting away some money!!!:)
I am treating this as a Firearms Enthusiast Disney Land.
We will be leaving Thursday for a 5-6hr drive to Pahrump Nevada
