This is inappropriate use of a social media site.

You are a PR Representative or an Organization which profits from the business it promotes.

There is no picture of you on your profile, only four banners which display the image for the Cancer Institute. If one does the homework and reads the book Pink Inc or watch the documentary Pink Inc, it will understand the hypocritical and self serving conduct of the Cancer Institute.

you are taking advantage of the generous nature of most people.

Are you on the Singles site merely to promote your agenda?
and provide free exposure for your company...

What in my posting suggested that this is trivial matter? I had two uncles with Cancer. one went with conventional treatment and was dead in a year.

      June 10, 2013

    • RickJ

my second Uncle went with alternative therapies and experienced remission. Do they tell you that cancer thrives in an acidic environment in our bodies? Do they tell you stress and unresolved emotions is key in being vulnerable to cancer? Do they tell you that the sponsors of these events, create and sell carcinogenic products? Being the Smart Singles Meetup, i would expect that the intelligent level of the members would be capable of being objective and discerning. Their minds would be open and know the difference between hype and facts. If i had someone i cared about who had cancer, i would want that they had the most effective treatment available, not just the most simplistic assault on the body. As an Organizer, if you cannot see conflict of interest and inappropriate use of this Meetup group, then i don't know where your priorities are. I have a right to comment on postings that are repeatedly sent to my Inbox.

It's great to see how many are eager to help! The contact info is right in the post!!! Please don't post your questions as comments, as it clogs up the inbox! When you RSVP YES, you will then be on the email list for updates specifically for attendees!

Hi, it sounds fun and I love cycling and have done long distance cycling like this overseas. Just a couple of questions though. How many hours per day cycling? And I'm a great long distance cyclist, very healthy, but I'm slower than some people (maybe medium speed), so are we going very fast? I don't want to hold people up!
