One of the most visually striking of all movie musicals, this new DCP restoration brings back the look of dazzling Technicolor and VistaVision as not seen in 55 years.

The story: Photographer Dick Avery(based on visual consultant Richard Avedon) is sent out by his female boss Maggie Prescott(based on Vogue legend Diana Vreeland) to find a "new face". It doesn't take Dick long to discover Jo, an owlish Greenwich Village bookstore clerk. Dick whisks the wide-eyed girl off to Paris and transforms her into the fashion world's hottest model.

The movie features memorable scenes, including Astaire creating a courtyard bullifight with only a red-lined raincoat and an umbrella; Hepburn, Thompson and Astaire performing together (in split screen) for the ebullient “Bonjour, Paris!” and stunning locations within the city that never looked more inviting.
