Vancouver H Friends is a social group for people with herpes (HSV-1, HSV-2) who live in the greater Vancouver BC Canada area. With over 500 members on our Yahoo Group, our membership is diverse in age and interests. People interested in making new friends, sharing fun activities, and meeting others who share our surprisingly common situation are always welcome!
It does not matter who you are, what your ethnic background, age, sexual preference, religion or politics or what you do for a living – we’re a great mix of wonderful individuals! New people attend events all the time...we’ll make sure to introduce you to other friendly people and make you feel comfortable.
Support groups are also scheduled. Join and find out the details.
Friendship and support await you;join our group and socialize with some great people!
Vancouver H Friends is not a herpes dating site. Instead, we plan social events and activities to allow you to meet one another in a supportive, relaxed atmosphere. It's about making new friends and having fun together. Most of our events take place at public locations, so even new people will feel comfortable. Although most members are single, couples are also welcome to attend our events; some couples have met through the group!
Vancouver H Friends relies on regular members like you to volunteer to organize events and activities that others might be interested in, such as brunches, hikes, beach parties, game nights, clubs and dancing, sports events, comedy shows, concerts, movies & dinner, and whatever else you can think of! If you'd like to see more events in your area, or more events that reflect your interests, please plan something!
This group's information is set to PRIVATE and only MEMBERS can view our events and other content. If you have herpes, please join us. For privacy purposes, you may want to create a new anonymous email address on Gmail or Yahoo and use that to join this group.
