The 16th Annual Boston Vegetarian Food Festival - Day 1

DAY 1 of The 16th Annual Boston Vegetarian Food Festival

Saturday, October 29, 2011

10 AM - 6 PM

( Hosted by the Boston Vegetarian Society )

  • Worcester Vegan Meetup and VegWorcester members will be attending. Are you interested in carpooling with others? Are you able to offer a ride? If so, post in the comments! We recommend meeting to carpool from the Worcester area around 8:30am to leave and get to Boston right when the festival begins at 10am!

  • This Festival brings together an amazing array of vegetarian natural food providers, top national speakers and chefs, and educational exhibitors in a fun and welcoming environment. It is a chance to talk directly to food producers, learn the newest items in the marketplace, taste free food samples, shop at show special discounts, or simply learn what vegetarian foods are available and where you can find them!

  • Whether you are a longtime vegetarian or vegan, or someone simply wanting to add more healthy and delicious foods to your meal repertoire, or if you are just curious what it's all about, you are welcome here! Free admission, free food sampling, kids activities, free speaker presentations, free parking and a T stop across the street. You also can learn of ways to benefit the environment, help animals, and enhance your health and well being.

I love this festival and look forward to it every year! The storm didn't prevent me from staying for the entire day!! But it took me a while to get home :-O

The Annual Boston Vegetarian Food Festival is the event of the year in Boston - 2 days EACH worth attending all day.

I'm going to day 1 but I'm going to the 10am preview hour. If anyone wants to come along, I'm leaving Worcester, MA at 8:30am (to get into Boston for 9:30 with a little extra wiggle time for any parking/traffic) so I can be there for the preview hour starting at 10am. You'd have to buy a $5 preview hour ticket on the website. - I have room for 2 people and can pick up in Worcester/Auburn/Leicester. (I'm leaving the event to head home at 5:30pm. )
