Yoga for Activists!

Few things are more selfless than animal rights activism - the work is difficult, never-ending, and, at times, heartbreaking. It’s easy to lose track of your Self while working to end suffering for others, and ignoring your own needs for too long can lead to burnout.
The Animal Rights Coalition invites you to nourish your own body and mind at the four-week series “Yoga For Activists.” Led by Kris Anne (RYT200Ⓡ), this practice will provide a safe space for you to explore gentle movement and draw your compassion inward, leaving you feeling refreshed, energized, and ready to continue the fight to end suffering for all.
No previous yoga experience? No problem--this series is for all levels, from novice to experienced practitioner!
Wear whatever you find comfortable and bring a yoga mat, a towel, and some water. We will make an announcement by 5:30 pm if the class is cancelled due to weather, and we will schedule a make up class.
SUGGESTED DONATION: $12 per class
All funds go to the Animal Rights Coalition to support vegan outreach and other animal advocacy work.
