we have been to su twice and will do it again, and we'll bring some vegan cheese, something they don't utilize in their dishes containing cheese. why? it's beyond me. but a sore point.

Didn't see the previous message but it seems like you guys may be looking for another vegan place nearby. Have you tried Su in Edgewater? It's amazing and the decor is really cool. I'm a regular there. So is Dr Oz!

isn't that catchy? maybe we should change the name of the group to vegan couch potatos.
where else might everyone be?
so, are you all tired of the regular venuew? does anyone care to step forward and make some suggestions?
to me, our current haunt beats bussing or driving to new york, paying tolls or bus fare, parking, train, subway and cab fare, etc. the groups would be a bit more interesting with a little more effort and interaction on behalf of the members. as it is, there is a small core group that is regularly doing stuff, friends are getting closer. isn't that why folks join facebook? isn't that what people want out of life? meaningfull friendships? it take some effort. and if you want more meaningfull friends that don't blow smoke in your face when you don't want to go to a steakhouse, it is going to take effort. if you want friends where you don't have to explain why you ordered what you ordered at the dinner table, it takes a bit more effort, but is worth it. do you find going out for a meal to be exhasperating? try to make it to a few meetups, you might be surprised at what a relief it is to be among like minded munchers.
