Free Vegan Cooking Class Inspired by Engine 2 Diet

Free class at Whole Foods Market in Framingham.

The class will focus on substituting dairy products with healthier alternatives and there will be samples of vegan Five Layer Dip, Tofu Ricotta Stuffed Tomatoes and a variety of plant milks. 

Whole Foods' Healthy Eating Specialist will demonstrate how to make tofu based, nutrient-dense Migas Especiales from Engine 2 Diet cookbook.

    Steve, thank you for coming and I appreciate your feedback. The challenge with classes like that one is there is always a mixture of people who are just starting their path to eating healthier and those who have been doing it for years. I try to offer something interesting to everyone. I hope you picked some recipes because everyone loved tofu ricotta, vegan five layer dip and vegan maple cashew creme.

    I didn't stay for the entire event. It might have been good a couple of years ago but not so much for someone already eating a whole food plant based diet. A presentation on knife skills was really not needed I thought.
