Munch Brunch Dine-Out

  • Greetings!

We had so much fun brunching last month that we're gonna do it again... this time in Oak Park with our good friends at Munch!

Located in a neighborhood filled with fun and lively shops, Munch offers an assortment of predominantly vegan fare. The full brunch-specific menu, which is only available Saturdays and Sundays, can be viewed here, and some of the tasty options you'll find include tofu scramble, vegan bacon and sausage, cornmeal pancakes, coconut chocolate chip pancakes, combo plates, fried coconut oatmeal, breakfast sandwiches, a variety of sides, and more.

Due to limited seating, Munch will be opening a half hour earlier than normal just for us to ensure that all Vegan Chicago members who RSVP are accommodated. As the cap is firm, if you sign up and learn prior to the event that you cannot attend, I kindly ask that you update your RSVP in order to free up a spot for someone else.

As Munch is BYOB, if you prefer your brunch to be accompanied by a Bloody Mary, mimosa, beermosa, or any other alcoholic beverage, please feel free to bring such.

Munch accepts cash-only, and a cash machine is located within the restaurant with an associated charge of $1.00 per transaction.

Munch is within walking distance of the CTA Green Line Harlem/Lake station. For those driving, there's a parking lot located a few doors south of the restaurant (on North Boulevard), as well as street parking.

For those interested in taking a stroll after eating, some of the noteworthy nearby shops to visit are Ten Thousand Villages, Pumpkin Moon, Paper Source, Beer Shop, and Scratch 'n Sniff.

    Hope to see you there!

    Debra

Hi, Everyone. Can someone give me directions from the green line? I would really appreciate it. This would be my 1st time

You'll want to get off at the Harlem/Lake stop. Go east (~1/2 block) to Marion St., then go north (another ~1/2 block) on Marion. Munch will be on the east side of the road, next to Fleet Feet. Have a good brunch!
