What we're about

What we're about:
The "#boss" in Vegan Ladyboss doesn't refer to managing people-- it refers to being the boss of your own life! Liz Dee founded VLB in November 2016 in NYC. It was born out of the belief that vegan women should be supported and empowered, and that a thriving, connected community of vegan women will change the world.

Vegan Ladyboss is a group for people who are vegan and self-identify as women to connect and accelerate their careers, passions and activism. This group builds on the monthly in-person meetups which will take place in Charleston, South Carolina, and follow-up conversations via Facebook private #VLBCharleston group.

Meetings will be held at various locations, with a Landfill-Free Potluck, and the discussions will cover topics pertaining to professional advancement, local animal advocacy and/or compassionate vegan living.

Additionally, there is a public Vegan Ladyboss page which is designed for the general public which can be found at http://www.Facebook.com/VeganLadyboss .

For women who are not vegan yet, they are encouraged to go vegan and join. There are many groups and organizations that assist with how to go vegan, but that is not what VLB does. To find help in going vegan local to the Charleston area, please consider plugging into the Charleston Veggies and Vegans Community opportunities!

Lady Vegan allies who do not wish to join.... you are welcome to follow our public social media handles mentioned above, and jump in with us at any point when you are ready!

Peace and Love!
