Join us again as we bring our message of peace, "no one is free when others are oppressed", to Cleveland’s Pride Parade. We will assemble at the intersection of West 3rd Street and Rockwell Avenue at 11am, marching with the parade to Voinovich Bicentennial Park. To join us, all you need is an MFA shirt. Don’t have one, no problem. Shirts will be available to marchers for the discounted price of $5. When you register/rsvp just let Joshua or Frances know your size and we’ll have a new tee waiting for you at the starting line.
Bring your awesome pride gear along (rainbow flags, beads, etc. please NO balloons) and join us as we rock Cleveland’s socks off with our message of love for all.
Please note that we won't have a table at Pride this year, but we will be leafleting along the parade route as usual. If you would like to leaflet, let us know. No previous experience needed.
See you at Pride. :)

Please check out Pride’s recommendations for parking: http://www.clevelandpride.org/home/parking/ Also, there is meter parking around where we’ll be assembling and should be free during the weekends.
Wear your MFA logo shirt if you have one. If you don’t have one and already reserved a shirt with Josh or myself, we’ll have one for you there. Please bring $5 (exact change if possible). If you haven’t requested a shirt, let me know soon and I’ll see if we have extra shirts for you.
We’ll be meeting at the corner of West 3rd Street and Rockwell Avenue on the Rockwell side. Look for people wearing MFA shirts, which look like the event picture: https://www.facebook.com/events/511719145598574/ If you can’t find us, call me at[masked]-5408.
At ~11:30am we’ll be moving to our spot in the line, which will be designated when we get there at 11am. So if you come late we won’t be at the corner of West 3rd Street and Rockwell Avenue and it would be hard to find us.
Josh will be the head marshall and I will be the tail marshall (like last year). Everyone else goes in between. We have a banner and 4 flags. Please bring whatever you have to add to the festivity (just no balloons). In addition, we’ll be passing out leaflets while we march. The goal is to pass out 1000 of them! Right now I only have 2 volunteer leafleters. Let me know if you want to help out! During the march, let’s try to maintain a longer shape instead of a single file. Please stay hydrated!! And if anyone from the audience gives you a hard time, just ignore them and keep walking. When we get to the end of the march, stay for the group pictures before you leave. We don’t have a table this year, but we encourage you to take some leaflets and go pass them around at the fest.
Any questions feel free to ask. :D
