Free Comedy Improv Show at the Vegetarian Saturn Cafe!

Like to laugh? Like veg restaurants? You're invited to a fun and free improv show at the vegetarian Saturn Cafe! It's been my dream to bring two favorite experiences together: vegan*ism and play! We've had so much fun doing this event, that it's become a regular feature (although every show is unique - it's improv!).

Saturn Cafe Space Lounge

(Walk into Saturn Cafe, then turn left and downstairs for the Lounge).

2175 Allston Way Berkeley, CA

Enjoy scenes, games, and songs... all improvised and inspired by audience suggestions.

High-wire theater, without a net! Laugh-out-loud fun!

8pm-10pm Show in the Space Lounge. (If you're hungry/thirsty, the Cafe's open 10am-midnight in the next room)

Some of our previous shows were completely full, so please arrive by 7:45pm for a good seat.

Coming? Please RSVP to help us plan seating:

Informal meetup, so no official table but it's a friendly lounge. Grab a seat and enjoy the show!

Some of us will hang out after the show, where we can chat about veg*ism, improv, or whatever.

PS Looking for an intro to improv class? Check out our popular Improv for Fun classes at the YWCA starting in June:

I loved it! It was that laugh out loud thing I love. They were quite talented.

After I arrived and couldn't ID anyone from this MeetUp group, I realized that this is just a regular source for promoting this event. I only stayed for the first half since I had to meet a friend later. It's a much different format from BATS Improv events I have attended - very homey, with all the kids of the performers in the audience providing much input into the event.

Again as my first experience the group was no where to be found and the Saturn Cafe hostess never heard of you. I waited for half an hour until 8 PM and no group. Fool me once shame on me. Fool me twice jokes on me. Not nice. Bad "improv". "Fun" with conscience?
