A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM
Shakespeare's beloved tale told anew with iconic song and dance!
The Duke of Athens is to wed the Amazon Queen, whom he has taken captive after battle. But when the King and Queen of Fairies have a fantastical fallout in the forest, as they journey to the wedding, two pairs of star-crossed lovers get tangled in a web of confusion and jealousy! What could possibly go wrong that a dash of fairy magic can’t fix?!
If you have never been there before, you are missing out on one of the finest summer entertainment option in Las Vegas. Where the grass is green and laughter is aplenty.
I have been going there for years and years and have enjoyed every evening I have been there. Sit on the grass (with low-back chair) or in the chair section on a regular chair. The mountains loom behind you. Bring a blanket and whatever you want to eat and drink. People bring elaborate picnics.
If you don't feel like bringing anything, there are food vendors and a concession stand for light snacks. Buying a soda or hot dog will not burn a hole in your pocket because the food is very, very reasonably priced.
Tickets can be purchased online or at select locations in the valley. Go to https://supersummertheatre.org/shows/ to purchase tickets. The weekend shows usually sell out first. Tickets online are $15.00 PLUS $2.50 service fee per ticket. You can print the tickets at home for free.
Limited number of tickets are available at the gate on the day of the show at $25 each. To have a reasonable chance at getting those tickets, you must arrive early enough (before 5 PM suggested) to be in line to buy those.
You can arrive at the parking lot at / after 5 PM. Meadow entrance opens at 6 PM. Play starts at 8:05 PM.
