    Southern Friend Vegan (https://www.facebook.com/events/733100040418809/?active_tab=about) travels the country offering its take on southern soul food. The group sets up vegan pop-ups and offers mouth-watering vegan buffets around the country, and the response has been very positive! They will be visiting New Orleans on Sunday, April 21st, and setting up shop inside the Courtyard Brewery, 1020 Erato Street, New Orleans, from noon to 5 pm.

  • New Orleans Vegan Block Party!!!

    Dear Friends, Due to inclement weather due to Hurricane Gordon, we have resceduled our Vegan Block Party until Wednesday, September 19th, from 11 am - 10 pm. Please drop any time between 11 am - 10 pm (Cocoally usually closes at 7, but will extend its hours of operation for this special event!) and other vendors like Mac and Moon Macaroons will be participating from 5 - 8 pm!), and 5% of all sales will be donated to the Humane Society of Louisiana. Vegan wine and crackers will also be offered at Cocoally, compliments of the Humane Society. This promises to be a special event that we hope will grow into an annual event that one day will involve dozens of restaurants, cafes, and animal-friendly businesses around the city and maybe someday around the state! So, please make our inaugural event a success by shopping at Cocoally or dining at Seed on September 19th!!!

    Dear Veggie Friends, Please join us this Saturday, August 11th for another fun and yummy Vegan Village. We'll have artists, food, vendors at a great venue and proceeds will benefit the Humane Society of Louisiana! Admission is free and open to the public.

Katherine is one of the city's premier wildlife and pet portrait artists and a great friend of all animals!! Katherine is also the author of "Looking Up" and an accomplished graphic designer!
