How easy or difficult have you found it to be vegetarian, or to move in that direction? Is there a specific way that you would like to be supported by this group, or a discussion topic that you would especially appeal to you?

I was very confused about nutrition until I read books by Dr. Joel Fuhrman in October 2013. I weighed well over 200 lb. I was under the delusion that one needed at least some poultry or fish in one's diet. The purveyors of fast food and junk food (yuk) make it pretty easy to become a vegan. Since becoming a vegan and striving to be a nutritarian (eating only foods that have nutritional value), I have come down to about 165 lb., and I am not an athlete. A good discussion topic would be the swindle and pure delusion that describe most restaurants and processed foods.

My name is Arnold. I was born in Philadelphia and have also lived in S. Florida and Balt. County. I have a degree from Florida International University. I would really like to meet people of like mind on the topic of veganism.
