How easy or difficult have you found it to be vegetarian, or to move in that direction? Is there a specific way that you would like to be supported by this group, or a discussion topic that you would especially appeal to you?

Having been a vegetarian for so long that it's simply what I do. There are some situations that take some planning ahead, but that comes with the territory. However it sometimes gets tiresome having to explain my choices and it would be very nice to be with like-minded people. The area I struggle with is the immorality of the meat industry and how to process that while living and functioning in a world where most people choose not to see that. seeing how others deal with that would be helpful and supportive.

I've been a vegetarian since the 70s, when it was not known as a necessarily healthy diet. My reasons were moral and ethical, although it is a plus that it's a healthy way to live.
