Hi Donald,

The long-awaited and much-anticipated 2012 DC VegFest is almost here! This year's event - on Sat., Sept. 22 - is being held at the spacious Yards Park and will feature over 100 exhibitors, free vegan food samples, a beer and wine garden, amazing speakers, and so much more:

Where: Yards Park, 300 Water St SE (next to Nationals Stadium)

Metro: Navy Yard Metro (New Jersey Ave exit)

on the green line

When: Sat., Sept. 22 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Bring your soon-to-be-vegetarian friends and family to try free samples from Gardein, Field Roast, The Vegg, Beyond Meat, and many others. There will also be over a dozen food vendors, including Amsterdam Falafel, Bread & Brew, Sticky Fingers Sweets & Eats, Dama Ethiopian, and Everlasting Life Cafe.

Plus, if you're there at 11 a.m., you'll get a chance to take home one of 1,000 free 2012 DC VegFest commemorative bags loaded with great stuff!

Don't forget our amazing line-up of speakers, including CNN's Jane Velez-Mitchell, vegan ultra-athlete Rich Roll, and the renowned Dr. Michael Greger - and cooking demos will be hosted by Cupcake Wars champion Doron Petersan and award-winning cookbook author Terry Hope Romero.

Are you as excited as we are and want to get involved?

If you want more than just one day of the DC VegFest, join us - and several of our DC VegFest speakers - for a benefit brunch on Sun., Sept. 23! Seating is limited and tickets are almost sold out: Get your ticket today.
