MAKING THE TRADE: PERCEPTIONS OF RESTRICTION IN THE VEGAN LIFESTYLE, WITH SID GARZA-HILLMAN, PLUS ST. PAT'S CELEBRATION! WED. MARCH 13 AT 6 PM
On Wed. March 13 at 6 pm, Sid Garza-Hillman will give an important how-to talk on making a vegan diet work.
A common perception is that being a vegan is a restrictive move, and requires one to 'give up' cherished delicacies. After all, HOW can a person live without gourmet cheeses, omelettes, delicious cakes and sooo much more??? What is to be gained by denying oneself la dolce vita, the five-star-rated taste sensations which keep us coming back for more???
In this informative, accessible and humorous talk, author/nutritionist/podcaster/philosopher Sid Garza-Hillman calls this perception into question and makes the case that perhaps the opposite may be true. No! A vegan is not 'giving up' tasty pleasures.
In fact, a vegan is gaining SO MUCH MORE!
In his presentation, Sid covers nutrition, modern world stress, and much more.
