Vegfest Volunteers Needed - Great Chance to Contribute to the Veggie Message & Have a Great Time

From: user 4.
Sent on: Tuesday, March 24, 2009 12:44 PM
It is that time of year again, VegMichigan's Vegfest is coming up on
April 26th. This event was formally named Great American Meatout and
still coincides with the national Meatout event.
This is a HUGE year for the Vegfest, John Sally of the Detroit Pistons
Bad Boys will be the keynote at the event speaking about being vegan.
We are also sponsored this year by Whole Foods and are grateful to
have VGKids on board helping out this year. Last year the event
brought in about 1,000 people and exposed them to a cruelty free,
animal friendly lifestyle. This year with our great keynote and
sponsors we expect a much bigger turnout.

SO THIS IS YOUR CHANCE TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE VEGGIE & ANIMAL RIGHTS COMMUNITY!

We need people in all areas of the event. From Prep and Cooking in the
kitchen to parking the hordes of visitors to working the information
booth.

The event takes place on Sunday April 26th at Ferndale High School
which is a quick 45 min drive from the Ypsi/Arbor area. It will be an
all day event for volunteers.

Participating in this event will get you free admission to the event.
You will be joining old friends and meeting new ones from Veg Ann
Arbor, VegMichigan, and the Ann Arbor Vegan Meetup.
See and help out your local favorite organizations and business such as
Sasha Farms
VGKids
Detroit Evolution
Whole Foods
Dr. Kerrie Saunders
and a lot more.

Please contact us via email or phone if you would like to volunteer or
have any questions.
