Bonjour Mes Amis! Paris in New York can only mean Bryant Park. I've always seen the park as a little bit of Paris in the heart of Midtown Manhattan. Perhaps it's those bistro chairs, the ballustrades, the immense plantings and the lawn. It could just be the sound of gravel under everyone's feet. The Beaux Arts pile that is the New York Public Library is the perfect backdrop for the scene at hand. Last year's potluck was a lot of fun and a terrific way to kick off the summer season.
Bryant Park is served directly by the B, D, F, V & 7 trains and is within two blocks of East Side and West Side trains, too. In addition, there are decent restroom facilities at the park as well as the Pret and Chipotle across the park on 42nd St.
How to meet us: We will meet on the 40th Street side of the park. If you look at the map above we will be just off the Great Lawn in the lower right portion green space. Our bistro tables will be clearly marked with VegOut cards.
Bring a vegan dish to share (no meat, poultry, fish, eggs, dairy or honey).
À bientôt, j'espère!
