Bonjour Mes Amis! Paris in New York can only mean Bryant Park. I've always seen the park as a little bit of Paris in the heart of Midtown Manhattan. Perhaps it's those bistro chairs, the ballustrades, the immense plantings and the lawn. It could just be the sound of gravel under everyone's feet. The Beaux Arts pile that is the New York Public Library is the perfect backdrop for the scene at hand.
Bryant Park is served directly by the B, D, F, V & 7 trains and is within two blocks of East Side and West Side trains, too. In addition, there are decent restroom facilities.
Bring a vegan dish to share (no meat, poultry, fish, eggs, dairy or honey). Potlucks are now free as we're not paying any rent.
Look for the large white banner on the Great Lawn with the V made up of two carrots.
À bientôt, j'espère!
