How Green Is My Potluck?

We’re making our monthly potlucks as environmentally friendly as possible!

Our plates, cups and utensils are reusable Preserve ware, made from recycled--and recyclable!--plastic, and our napkins are made from recycled paper. (If we ever have more people than cups, our backup cups are biodegradable, made from corn.)

(To be current on recycling in NYC check out this link here and this one here).

To make things even eco-friendlier (and to make less work for those of us doing the dishes): Consider bringing your own reusable utensils, cloth napkin and to-go cup! Integral Yoga Natural Foods, across the street from the Center, is one of the many stores that carry those great bamboo utensil sets that roll up into a napkin.

Thanks for helping us keep it green! We hope to see you at a potluck soon.
