This Week in Velo Girls – September 7th, 2015

Happy Monday! I hope you’re enjoying this long weekend and have been able to get out on the bike! After a few days in Idaho, I’m heading west to Oregon to participate in the Arthritis Foundation’s People’s Coast Classic – a week-long fundraising ride that benefits the Arthritis Foundation. I still need to raise almost $300 in order to participate in this event so if you’d like to make a tax-deductible donation on my behalf, you’ll find more information here:

http://www.peoplescoastclassic.kintera.org/velogirl

And if you like pretty pictures, you can follow along on my adventures here:

Just a heads up that I’ll be travelling from mid-August through mid-September so please make sure to contact the appropriate ride leaders (not me) for any rides you’re interested in participating in. This will help ensure you get a prompt response. The ride leaders are listed on each ride as the “event host.”

2016 Velo Girls membership is now live! All new memberships are valid for the rest of 2015 and through December 31st, 2016. Along with membership, you can purchase discounted Savvy Bike clinics and bike fit. All memberships paid during the month of September are eligible to win a $50 gift certificate from our bike shop sponsor Go Ride Bicycles in Redwood City. You’ll find registration here:

http://velogirls.eventbrite.com

We’ve re-opened our Pactimo team store with our super-cute 2015 Velo Girls club clothing. By popular demand, we’ve added a long sleeve jersey for winter, too! All orders are placed directly with Pactimo and clothing is made custom for you and shipped directly to you. The deadline to order is this Friday, September 11th. You’ll find the team store here:
